Terms of Service
Last updated 2026. These terms are between you and BC Snap (“we”, “us”), the provider of BC Snap (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms.
1. The Service
BC Snap lets you photograph or upload a business card, uses AI optical character recognition to extract the contact details, and produces a vCard (.vcf) file you can save into Apple Contacts or any compatible address book.
2. Your account
- You must be of legal age, or have authority to bind the organisation you represent.
- You must give accurate account information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
3. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the Service unlawfully, or for fraud, spam or unsolicited marketing;
- upload cards or images you have no right to process;
- infringe anyone’s intellectual property or privacy rights;
- interfere with the Service’s security — no malware, probing, scraping, reverse engineering, or circumventing usage limits;
- resell or redistribute the Service.
4. AI output and accuracy
Contact fields are produced by an automated model and may be incomplete or wrong. Always review the extracted fields before saving them. The Service is not a substitute for professional advice, and we do not warrant that any extraction is accurate.
5. Intellectual property
We retain all rights in the Service, its software, branding and documentation. You keep all rights in the images you upload and the contact data you generate. You grant us a limited licence to process your uploads solely to provide the Service. If you believe content processed through the Service infringes your rights, contact us and we will investigate and remove infringing content; repeat infringers lose access.
6. Plans, payment and billing
BC Snap Pro is sold as a monthly or annual subscription that renews automatically until you cancel. Payment, billing, currency, tax, invoicing, cancellation and refund mechanics are handled by Paddle under the Paddle Buyer Terms. See our Cancellations & Refunds page for how cancelling works.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
7. Availability
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may change or discontinue features.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated policy violations. You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time.
9. Warranties and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, data or goodwill. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept it. Questions about these terms can be sent to us through the support channel shown at checkout, and billing questions can go directly to Paddle at paddle.net.
